We’re all guilty of sharing a snack with our furry friends every now and then. A lick of ice cream or a piece of fruit isn’t hurting anyone, right? Actually, some human foods can be highly dangerous for dogs and can cause a range of health issues and discomfort for your buddy.

 

Did you know that chocolate is highly toxic for dogs and can lead to vomiting, muscle tremors and seizures? Even cooked bones can pose a risk and easily splinter while your buddy’s chewing them, causing internal ruptures. If your dog has swallowed something they shouldn’t have, it’s important to call your vet quickly for advice on next steps.
